FED-HURT is comprised of caring medical professionals and support staff dedicated to helping each Federal Employee recover from their injuries. Our primary goal is to help each injured employee return to pre-injury status. We accomplish this by walking each claimant through their paperwork and explaining the injury recovery process step by step.
Whether you are a CA1 or CA2 your treatment and recovery of your injuries is our main priority. We will not rest until the proper documentation of causation is completed correctly. Most importantly you will receive expert hands-on care from our Medical providers and Therapists. We know that you can choose any provider for your care, so we treat you as if this is the only center that you would ever want to go to.

Hernan Pabon, M.D.
Interventional Pain Management
Dr. Hernan Pabon is a Board Certified Pain Management specialist. His compassion and understanding for individuals suffering from pain has helped provide countless individuals relief without the dangerous side effects of opioid addiction. His practice consists of patients suffering from musculoskeletal disorders such as fibromyalgia, neck pain and sciatica. His gentle approach to minimally invasive procedures has provided his patients with unsurpassed results. He holds an undergraduate degree from the Univ-Indust Santander, Columbia in Psychiatry and a post-graduate degree in Pain Management from the University of Miami. Dr. Pabon’s education and experience provides his patients with a unique combination of mind-body medicine.
Robert Kustin, D.C.
Chiropractic Medicine
Dr. Robert Kustin is the clinic director for FED-HURT. Dr. Kustin has been treating patients with musculoskeletal related pain for the past 20 years. As a former strength and conditioning specialist and exercise physiologist for the University of Florida Gators, Dr. Kustin has a strong background in a multi-discipline approach towards musculoskeletal rehabilitation. Dr. Kustin holds a Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Life Chiropractic College, and an undergraduate degree in Exercise Physiology from the University of Florida.
Fernando Jimenez, M.D.
Internal Medicine
Dr. Fernando Jimenez is an Internal Medicine doctor with a Fellowship in Cardiology from Washington University. Dr. Jimenez is a compassionate physician practicing since 1970. He is currently seeing patients with musculoskeletal issues such as headaches, migraines and radicular pain that are complicated by diabetes or other systemic disorders. His thorough approach and experience with the Miami Heart Institute has provided him with a unique perspective in the field of Internal Medicine. Dr. Jimenez provides his patients with traditional prescription therapy as well as medically supervised physical rehabilitation. All examinations include a thorough work up including labs, x-ray and diagnostic evaluation.

FED-HURT in South Florida has a number of orthopedic physicians as members of our staff that are able to diagnose and treat a wide variety of musculoskeletal injuries of the spine and extremities.
